SUSTAINABLE FARMING A beautiful, vibrant, fun, lively expression of the varietal! Unlike most Refoscos from Italy, that tend to be sharp and a bit more aggressive with their high acidity, this Croatian Teran from Kozlović has juicy and friendly acidity and such an inviting fruit component that you won't know if you should pair this wine with a meal, or just have it by itself! The juicy acidity is not all you get with this wine, though. After the wine opens up a bit the raspberry fruit will develop into a inviting herbaceous, mineral component. Its great tannin structure and wonderful inky-ness makes you forget that you're even drinking a grape that belongs to the Refosco family. Pair with cured, smoked meats, rabbit, venison, pizza, roasts, grilled panini sandwiches and red meats.
