Bura Dingac Plavac MalI, 2019

Located on the steep 45 degree Southern slopes of Peljesac Peninsula known for its big reds, Bura vineyards produce the most unique, delicious and prestigious wine to ever come out of the Dalmatian Coast. As much as there is talk about all the different wineries and winemakers in Croatia, no other winemaker stands out more than Niko Bura and his sacred Bura Dingač. Niko Bura’s vineyards are fully organic and are the truest expression of the microclimate and land of Croatia’s southern Dalmatian coast. The Bura family has a one of the longest traditions of winemaking in Dingač, spanning over five generations. Typical bottle production of Bura Dingač is very limited (between 1,400 to 2,500 bottles, depending upon the year) and that is why every bottle opening should be treated as a special occasion. Made from slightly raisined grapes and vinified in native yeasts, Bura is a masculine wine of high extract and up to 15% alcohol, with intense black fruit on the nose, along with pine and a note of dry hay.

2010 Napa Valley Chardonnay boasts an attractive light golden-straw color and fresh, lightly buttery, ripe golden apple, pear and citrus aromas, complemented by seductive vanilla and cinnamon/nutmeg scents from oak aging and subtle yeast tones from lees contact. Lush, concentrated and creamy on the palate, its ripe apple, melon, bright citrus and baking spice flavors culminate in a long, beautifully structured finish boasting crisp acidity and zesty mineral and spice tones. Sumptuous, yet refreshing, our 2010 Chardonnay is delicious now, but will handsomely reward another 3-5 years' bottle aging.

Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley, 2018

The flavor profile includes dark chocolate, sweet tobacco, mocha, leather, brown spice, cedar, vanilla and sweet licorice. Rombauer Napa Cabernet, 2016

A mild growing season yielded a fruit-driven wine with soft tannins. Deep purple color, nearly black at its core with a crimson hue. Tobacco, black currant, black olive and plum aromas radiate from the glass. Dark berry fruit unfold across the palate adding weight and dimension. Hints of spice and raspberry build on the back palate for a smooth finish.
