Kobal Blaufrankisch

Blaufränkisch is a special premium dark, ruby-colored wine with an aroma which resembles overripened blackberries, chocolate, black mulberries and dried plums. The harmony of fruity aromas is nicely rounded up with wood characteristics both in scent and in flavor, with a moderately long velvet finish. We recommend allowing the wine to decant for up to 45 minutes before consumption.

Pomalo Frankovka

Wild fermented Frankovka makes for a gluggable Slavonian red that’s perfect for grilling in the summertime! Fruity nose offering cherry, red apple, and nutmeg, followed by a crunchy pallet bursting with tart red cherry, red berries, and eastern spices, balanced with lively acidity, gentle tannins and easy drinkability. Tremendous summer red for doing all the red-wine summer things related to relaxing: bonfires, seaside grilling, evenings in the hammock – no pretension permitted!

Pomalo Freskavina

Graševina (aka Welschriesling) is the most widely planted white grape in Croatia, and most prominently grown in the Slavonia area near the border of Hungary. You can’t talk about Croatian whites, without talking about Graševina!

The whole point of Pomalo is to take it easy and not take things too seriously – like the name of this wine: Freškavina, loosely translated to “freshy wine”. Nothing too technical here. With the gentle expression of native yeast fermentations, Freškavina, exudes the floral aromatics and tropical fruit expression of Welschriesling, with a bright and crispy backbone that makes it super oh so refreshing. In a region famous for cured and smoked pork, pair with paprika cured meats (Kulen), fish paprikaš, vegetable stew, and crispy lard cracklings (čvarci).

Rombauer Napa Cabernet, 2016

A mild growing season yielded a fruit-driven wine with soft tannins. Deep purple color, nearly black at its core with a crimson hue. Tobacco, black currant, black olive and plum aromas radiate from the glass. Dark berry fruit unfold across the palate adding weight and dimension. Hints of spice and raspberry build on the back palate for a smooth finish.

Blend: 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Merlot

Strikingly fruit-forward. Dark red in color with a ruby hue. Bursting aromas of ripe cranberries, blackberries and crushed raspberries. Nuances of clove and mint add character and dimension to the ripe fruit flavors. Beautiful acidity intertwined with richness seamlessly create an expressive and dense mid-palate. Vanilla and plum flavors round out an unforgettable finish.

Ruffino Ducale Oro Chianti Classico Reserva, 2011

Ruby red in color, with garnet hues. Riserva Ducale Oro 2007 shows the distinctive Tuscan bouquet of a great Chianti Classico Riserva with notes of violet, cherry, plum and spice. On the palate, the wine has well-defined structure and a generous, fruity core accented by hints of chocolate, cinnamon and spicy hints of black pepper. Full-bodied and well-balanced with powerful fruity notes, Riserva Ducale Oro's round yet impressive tannins support a good acidity and lead into a lengthy finish featuring notes of plum, clove and sweet tobacco.

2009 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a complex wine with berry and floral aromatics and a lovely structure. It has a dark, ruby color and a vibrant nose of black cherry, wisteria and sweet baking spices. On the palate, the wine is elegant and expressive and echoes the berry, floral and spice notes from the nose. It has a classic structure of fine grained tannins and a long, layered finish. Given proper cellaring, this wine should give drinking pleasure through 2032.
